❶ San Saba, the enchanted village
A hidden village in the heart of Rome. Wander through Piazza Gian Lorenzo Bernini and stroll along the colorful, flower-lined streets that surround it.
Settle onto a bench or into a café, coffee and notebook in hand, and let the quiet charm of the neighborhood gently embrace you.
Piazza Gian Lorenzo Bernini
❷ Coppedè, the whimsical
The Coppedè district is a unique place where Art Nouveau, Gothic, Baroque, and medieval styles blend together.
Designed by Gino Coppedè in the early 20th century, this ensemble of villas and buildings is arranged around Piazza Mincio and the Fountain of the Frogs.
Take time to admire the intricate architectural details of the villas and fountains, then enjoy a peaceful walk to Villa Borghese.
❸ The Botanical Garden
The Botanical Garden of Rome is a wonderful place, perfect for a gentle and soothing stroll. I like to wander through it, making my way up to the Japanese garden, where I pause to enjoy the calm and the view over the city.
I then walk back down through the bamboo grove, cool and peaceful, before passing by the vineyards and greenhouses, bathed in light and filled with exotic plants.
My walk always ends along the grand avenue of palm trees, open and majestic.
❹ Flaminio Pincio, the elegant
The Flaminio district and the heights of the Pincio reveal another side of Rome, both peaceful and refined.
From the Pincio, the view gently opens over the city, while the shaded pathways invite you to wander. Below, Flaminio charms with its cultural spirit, blending contemporary architecture such as MAXXI with elegant places to live and explore.
